Intel Imitates the Mac Mini
|
A new prototype by Wintel which openly imitates the Mac Mini will be showcased this week. Intel wants to prove thats its chips are as good as any in the tiny PCs market. The PC will be based on the Pentium M CPU and will run Microsoft Windows.
I don't think this poses much of threat to Apple. But, it does show that Intel feels threatened by Apple! Instead of trying to clone the Mac Mini, maybe Intel should try to innovate. This is the perfect example of too little, too late.

I just don't see why I would want to run Windows XP on a Pentium M 1.2GHz or something... Sounds like a modified Tablet PC. |

"This is the perfect example of too little, too late." Well well well... Now that Apple has recently switched to Intel processors, who's too little too late this time ? |
