Samsung's Flash-Based Disk Drive
|
Samsung announced today that it has developped a Solid State Disk (SSD) with a capacity of up to 16GB. If flash technology keeps advancing this way, we should all have them in our computers very shortly. Imagine battery life on your laptop with a SSD. Of course, SSDs are also lighter and much faster. Flash-based drives based on the new technology are expected on the market by August on some notebooks and tablet PCs. I can't wait to see how this all unfolds on the computer market!

I think that considering only your laptop, you REALLY need one (or any other one)! |
