Firefox Gaining Market Share
|
According to Techworld, the Firefox browser has reached 8 percent of the market share up from 7.38 percent back in April. Altough this is good news, I'm still surprised that so many people are using the outdated Internet Explorer browser (87.23 percent market share).
IE doesn't even have tabbed browsing built in! You can download the latest MSN Search Toolbar to get tabbed browsing, but seriously, how many toolbars are needed to make IE acceptable . Of course, IE7 will have tabs, but Microsoft are so behind on the technology. I really have no idea how the browser can catch up now, IE hasn't had a major feature upgrade in over three years.
IE users, take Firefox for a test drive, you might like it (and it's free )!

| What is great is that many corporations are installing Firefox on their machines as a second choice for IE. |
